Islamabad:In a shocking development, it has come to light that official vehicles and confiscated assets belonging to the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) Excise Department were allegedly used during recent protests in Islamabad. This revelation has sparked concerns about the misuse of public property for political purposes.

According to reports, numerous vehicles, ranging from different models, were taken from government warehouses and the Excise Department and transferred to the KPK Chief Minister’s House. From there, they were allegedly distributed among leaders of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) for use in the protests. This has raised serious questions about the ethical use of state resources and the involvement of the provincial administration in political activities.

The Secretary of the Excise Department, Fayyaz Ali Shah, confirmed that the vehicles were indeed handed over to the Chief Minister’s House by the administration. However, the purpose behind this transfer remains unclear, fueling calls for a full investigation into the possible misuse of government property.

The incident has ignited a debate about transparency and accountability within the provincial government, as critics demand answers regarding the appropriation of public resources for political gain. As the situation continues to develop, more revelations may further expose the extent of political entanglement in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa’s government practices.
