Islamabad:Agroundbreaking move, Pakistan is set to host the largest Meta Llama Hackathon in the Asia-Pacific region. This ambitious event, spearheaded by the National Incubation Center for Aerospace Technologies (NICAT), the Ministry of IT&T, and Ignite National Technology Fund, aims to unleash the transformative potential of artificial intelligence (AI) using Meta’s cutting-edge Llama 2 and Llama 3 models.
NICAT: A Hub for Aerospace and DeepTech Innovation
NICAT, Pakistan’s premier Aerospace and DeepTech incubation center, is leading the charge in this technological revolution. With its focus on Aerospace technologies and DeepTech, NICAT is uniquely positioned to foster the development of AI solutions that can reshape industries and drive economic growth. NICAT is a joint venture between Ignite NTF, MoIT&T and NASTP.
National Aerospace and Science Technologies Park (NASTP) is a nationwide network of S&T Parks across Pakistan, spearheaded by Pakistan Air Force (PAF).

Finals will be organized on October 2, 2024, in Singapore with a Prize Money of up to $100,000. This includes travel and accommodation, offering winners a global platform to showcase their innovations, connect with international industry leaders, and gain valuable exposure.
