IB officials suspend for mistreatment of ARY News Team
Islamabad: The five Intelligence Bureau (IB) officials have been suspended for mistreatment of the ARY News Team especially the TV anchor Iqrar ul Hasan.
Sources said that the Deputy Director-General of IB Sindh has issued the order with regard to the suspension of five officials including the director Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan.
With the approval of competent Authority / JOG (Sindh), Director Syed Mohiuddin Rizwan, Stenotypist Mehmoob Ali s/o Jaffar Khan, Stenotypist loam Ali s/o Arbab Ali Kalhoro, SI Rajah All s/o Muhammad Anwar Khokhar and HC Khawar s/o Javaid Alam of SPHQ Karachi are hereby placed under suspension with immediate effect under rule 5 (1) & (2) of Government Servants (Effificiecy & Disciplinary) Rules, 2020, for mistreatment of ARY News Team and mishandling the situation.
