Unbridled inflation: Opposition political parties to hold protest in 11 cities today

Islamabad: Rising inflation across the country has overwhelmed the patience of the people. Noon League, PPP, and other parties are protesting in different cities including Karachi, Lahore, Sukkur, Larkana, Jacobabad, Chaman, and Mohmand. Rallies are being held. Preparations are underway for a protest in front of Karachi Empress Market under PDM.

In Lahore, the PML-N staged a protest at Jain Mandirchowk against inflation. The PML-N workers involved in the protest have raised utility bills and bread.

Protests are also going on in Astor under the auspices of PML-N Astor. Due to the protest against inflation, traffic on the Gilgit-Rawalpindi road has been suspended.

General Secretary Noon League Astor Rana Farooq has said that there will be a wheel jam strike and protest in Kozul district on October 29.

In Sukkur, PML-N workers staged a protest at Ghanta Gharchok. The protesters said that the federal government has made the lives of the people miserable by increasing inflation. Unemployment is on the rise in the PTI government which has announced jobs.

In Larkana, the PML-N staged a protest at Jinnah Bagh Chowk. In Jacobabad, the PPP Hari Committee staged a protest rally. The participants of the rally said that people are forced to commit suicide due to inflation and unemployment.

In Chaman, PDM staged a protest at Mezai Ada and rallied on Quetta-Chaman Highway, which resulted in the suspension of traffic on Quetta-Chaman Highway. Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM) staged a protest rally and sit-in in Ziarat Valley.

Containers have been placed near Chanda Qila Bypass in Gujranwala to block roads.
